Planning on playing competitive soccer in the Fall season?
Westbury Soccer invites you to join the U8 Futures - Intro to Competitive Soccer program.
What is it?: A 3-week introduction into training and playing at the competitive U9 level. The program will consist of 2 practices per week from 6 pm - 7 pm at Bayland Park.
Why should my U8 player attend?: Believe it or not, your U8 player officially becomes U9 in the Fall. At U9, the club's program changes from Grassroots Development to a more traditional program of practices and 7 v 7 games against other clubs. This program will help the U8 players more easily transition to this new level of soccer. They will learn some of the basics of match play as well as other more advanced concepts.
When is the program?: Practices will be Tues/Thurs (5/3, 5/5, 5/10, 5/12, 5/17, 5/19)
What time & Where?: 6 pm-7pm @ Bayland Park East Field
What is the cost?: $60 (plus cc trans fee)
