LEAGUE OPTIONS

IN-HOUSE LEAGUE:

  1. 5 v 5 Format for U6 – U7. 6 v 6 Format for U8.
    See HYSA Age matrix link below.
  2. Our in house league has one practice a week and games are played on Sunday afternoons.
  3. Practice and games are played at WB-S3 Kolter Field.
  4. Referees are provided.
  5. 8 – 10 week season.
  6. All teams are formed as Co-ed.

HYSA LEAGUE:

  1. 8 v 8 format for U9, U10, U11 & U12
  2. 11 v 11 format for U13 through U18
  3. See HYSA age matrix link below for age cut off dates
  4. All teams are formed individually as Boys & Girls teams
  5. Practice & Home Game Facilities include:
    U-9, U-10 & U11: Parker Field WB-S2
    U-9, U-10 & U11: Ron Meek Field* SM-S2
    U12 – U18: Bayland Fields WB-L1 & WB-L2
    See Map page for locations of all Westbury Home Fields.
  6. Two practices a week and games played on Saturday and/or Sunday.
  7. Trainer fees are part of the program for U9-U10 HYSA league teams.
  8. U11+ teams may hire a trainer and these trainer fees would be an additional cost to the players
  9. All HYSA league teams are required to travel for all AWAY games.

FEE SCHEDULE

REGISTRATION FEES FOR SPRING SEASON 2009:

IN-HOUSE LEAGUE
U6 – U8: $85.00

HYSA LEAGUE
U9 – U10: $140.00 (Includes Developmental Training)
U11 – U18: $105.00 (Additional fees required for Professional training)
EDDOA U11-U18: $105.00 (Additional fees required for Professional training)

IN-HOUSE LEAGUE OPTION
Children starting at age 5 will play in our IN-HOUSE co-ed recreational league. Ages are subject to review prior to placement on team.

REGISTRATION FEES:
The registration fee Westbury Soccer Club charges consists the of HYSA association registration fee, uniform fee, field use fee, and another category to cover incidental costs Westbury Soccer Club incurs for all players playing under the Houston Youth Soccer Association umbrella.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINER FEES:
WSC requires teams starting at U11 to begin professional training. Professional Training for WESTBURY SOCCER CLUB is provided by BOSS TRAINING& DEVELOPMENT and overseen by DIRECTOR OF TRAINING, Coach Mike Henshaw.

Fees to professional training are not included in the base registration fee and are considered additional. These fees may vary depending on the number of contacts the trainer has with the team. The number of training sessions is determined by the Coach, Players and Trainer and is unique to each team. Payments are made directly to the trainer by the individual players.

EDS2 FEES:
Fees paid to the Eastern District Super 2 are additional fees paid by the teams that qualify to play at the EDS2 competition level. The fee is a flat team fee which is allocated to each player by the coach of the EDS2 team(s). The coach fills out the registration form and sends the required fees and forms to the EDS2 registrar.

ADDITIONAL UNIFORM FEE:
An additional traveling (Visitor’s) uniform may be requested by a coach and will be an additional cost to the player.

TOURNAMENT FEES:
Teams may decide to participate in invitational tournaments during the playing season. The entry fee for the team will be an additional cost to the player.

  • Medical Release Form - Required with Registration

    All players must complete a Westbury Soccer Club Registration form with parental/guardian signatures. The information on the form consists of the player name, date of birth, address, home phone and email address of the player. Also included is the parent(s)/guardian(s) first and last name, address, home phone, cell phone and email addresses. The information on the form is used to register the player with our Association, Houston Youth Soccer Association (HYSA). Other information on the form include coach request, days you can/cannot practice and uniform size information. This form may also include a section called the medical release form that must be signed by the parent(s)/guardian(s).

    Signatures of the parent(s)/guardian(s) are required on the registration form and the medical release form. The medical release form is a legal document that must be signed by the parent/guardian of each player registered with Westbury Soccer Club. This form may be part of the player registration form or a separate form. This form will allow medical treatment and/or transportation of players in case a medical emergency arises at practice or games and release, discharge or otherwise indemnify the club of any claims if an injury occurs to a player.
