LEAGUE OPTIONS

IN-HOUSE LEAGUE:

  1. 4 v 4 Format for U5 – U7. 5 v 5 Format for U8.
    See HYSA Age matrix link below.
  2. Our in house league has one practice a week and games are played on Sunday afternoons.
  3. Practice and games are played at WB-S3 Kolter Field.
  4. Referees are provided.
  5. 8 – 10 week season.
  6. All teams are formed as Co-ed.

HYSA LEAGUE:

  1. 8 v 8 format for U9, U10, U11 & U12
  2. 11 v 11 format for U13 through U18
  3. See HYSA age matrix link below for age cut off dates
  4. All teams are formed individually as Boys & Girls teams
  5. Practice/Home Game Facilities include:
    U9-10: Parker Field WB-S2/Parker Field WB-S2
    U11-12: Bayland Field WB-L1/ Ron Meek Field WB-S1
    U13-18: Bayland Field WB-L1 & WB-L2/ Bayland Fields WB-L1 & WB-L2

  6. Two practices a week and games played on Saturday and/or Sunday.
  7. Fees for U9-U10 HYSA league teams include Professional Training.
  8. Professional Training is required for competitive teams starting at U11. Fees for professional training starting at U11 are an additional cost to the players
  9. Games scheduled in the HYSA league require teams to play at home and away as the traveling visiting team.

FEE SCHEDULE

REGISTRATION FEES FOR 2010 FALL SEASON:

U5-U8 IN HOUSE Players: $85.00: co-ed, one practice per week, Sunday afternoon games at Kolter Elementary.

U9-U10 HYSA Players: $170.00: Includes Professional training, 2 practices per week, Saturday games, including travel games.

U11-U18 HYSA Players: $135.00. Professional Training fees are extra, 2 practices per week, Saturday games, U15 games on Sundays, including travel games.

U11-U18 EDDOA & EDS2 LEAGUE Players: $135.00. Professional Training fees are additional. Additional fees are also required for teams that qualify for these leagues.

Registration fees include: Field maintenance, Club management, and one full team uniform which includes 2 jerseys, 1 pair of shorts & 1 pair socks.

IN-HOUSE LEAGUE OPTION
Children starting at age 5 will play in our IN-HOUSE co-ed recreational league. Ages are subject to review prior to placement on team.

PROFESSIONAL TRAINER FEES:
WSC requires competitive teams starting at U11 to begin professional training. BOSS TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT provides Professional Training for WESTBURY SOCCER CLUB which is overseen by WSC DIRECTOR OF TRAINING; Mike Henshaw. Fees for professional training are not included in the base registration fee and are considered additional. These fees may vary depending on the number of contacts the trainer has with the team. The number of training sessions is determined by the Coach, Players and Trainer and is unique to each team. Payments are made directly to the trainer by the individual players.

EDDOA & EDS2 FEES:
Fees paid to the EDDOA and EDS2 are additional fees paid by the teams that qualify to play at these competition levels. The fee is a flat team fee which is allocated to each player by the coach of the team(s). The coach fills out the registration form and sends the required fees and forms to the appropriate registrar.

ADDITIONAL UNIFORM FEE:
An additional traveling (Visitor’s) jersey is included in the registration fee

TOURNAMENT FEES:
Teams may decide to participate in invitational tournaments during the playing season. The entry fee for the team will be an additional cost to the player.

    All players must complete a Westbury Soccer Club Registration form with parental/guardian signatures. The information on the form consists of the player name, date of birth, address, home phone and email address of the player. Also included is the parent(s)/guardian(s) first and last name, address, home phone, cell phone and email addresses. The information on the form is used to register the player with our Association, Houston Youth Soccer Association (HYSA). Other information on the form include coach request, days you can/cannot practice and uniform size information. This form may also include a section called the medical release form that must be signed by the parent(s)/guardian(s).

    Signatures of the parent(s)/guardian(s) are required on the registration form and the medical release form. The medical release form is a legal document that must be signed by the parent/guardian of each player registered with Westbury Soccer Club. This form may be part of the player registration form or a separate form. This form will allow medical treatment and/or transportation of players in case a medical emergency arises at practice or games and release, discharge or otherwise indemnify the club of any claims if an injury occurs to a player.
