WB-L1 &L2- Bayland Fields (120 yards)
Westbury WB-L1 and L2 fields are located in Bayland Park at 6400 Bissonnet 77074. Access L1 by turning north on Bayland Park Drive next to the Football stadium and veering to the right. L2 can be accessed by turning north on Braeburn Drive and going straight past the baseball fields until it dead ends. WB-L1 and L2 are for U13 and up teams playing 11v11 games.

WB-S1 Field – Ron Meek Field (90 yards)
Westbury WB-S1 field is located at 10425 Rampart, 77096, behind (east) the Lloyd Johnson Swimming Complex and Ron Meek Park. Please park along the street and walk through the park to access the field. Ron Meek Field is for U11 & U12 teams playing 8v8 games.

WB-S2 Field – Parker Field (70 yards)
Westbury WB-S2 field is located at 10626 Atwell, 77096, in the playground area behind Parker Elementary School. Access the field by turning south off Willowbend either on Mullins or on Atwell St. The gate is located along the south side on Stillbrooke. Parker Field is for U9 & U10 teams playing 8v8 games.

WB-S3 Field – Kolter Field (60 yards)
Westbury WB-S3 field is located at 9710 Runnymeade, 77096, in the playground area behind Kolter Elementary School. The gate is located along the south side on Dumfries Drive. Kolter Field is for U8 teams playing 5v5 games.

WB-L3 & WB-S4: Westland YMCA Fields
10402 Fondren, Houston, Texas 77096. Fields are used for practice only.

WB-L4: Westbury Christian Field
10420 Hillcroft, Houston, Texas 77096. Fields are used for practice only.

The Westbury Soccer Club Rainout Hotline is 713-729-6062. This covers all fields: Bayland Fields, Ron Meek Field, Parker Field and Kolter Fields.

Coaches and players should assume that ALL games will be played unless the hosting soccer club closes the field. Field closing shall be posted by 8:00AM on the day of the game. If the recorded message is NOT for that specific day, then all fields should be considered OPEN.

A second determination of field conditions is provided by the Referees at the time of the game. If conditions change between the 8:00AM posting and the actual game time, then referee is required to assess field conditions and if necessary cancel the game.

The decision to call a rainout is based upon the concerns for the safety of the players and protection of the field playing surfaces.   Hard rain and cold weather may be miserable to play in, however they do NOT constitute cause to cancel a game.

HYSA states that the  decision to close a field "must be based upon danger to players or impossible playing conditions."  These are defined by HYSA as:

• Field too muddy or waterlogged: players constantly will slip in uncontrollable manner and ball will not roll.
• Field frozen; dangerous to players who might fall
• Lightning; dangerous to players and referee
• Fog: vision limited

The following procedure applies to closure of the Parker, Kolter, Bayland and Ron Meek Fields:

1. Field Coordinator inspects fields and makes the decision that games will NOT be played
2. Field Coordinator contacts the Referee Assignor/Rainout Rep to notify him of the field closure.
   • Weekdays:  Must call before 4:00PM
   • Weekends:  Must call before 8:00AM Saturday; 12:00PM Sunday
   • If a coach calls before that time, the hotline will NOT be updated.
3. Referee Assignor/Rainout Representative then:
   • Updates the Westbury Rainout Hotline stating which fields are closed
   • Notifies the club referees and HYSA Referee Assignor of the cancellation
   • Notifies the HYSA Scheduler

The decision by the Field Coordinator is final.  If a field is closed, ALL GAMES THAT DAY ARE CANCELLED.  The Field Coordinators and Referee Assignor will identify a backup for any weeks that they will be unavailable during the season.
